Your two-level paper outline will appear here.
An outline is a plan, not a completed argument
Refine the outline against literature, scope and available materials. Literary and review papers need not follow an experimental structure. An outline does not establish findings or replace academic guidance.
Outline example: literary analysis without an experiment chapter
This teaching example was written for this page, not saved from a model response or prescribed as a universal university template. Its title is “Nested Narration and the Attribution of Responsibility in the 1818 Edition of Frankenstein.” It proposes analytical tasks without assuming conclusions or claiming novelty.
1. Introduction
- 1.1 Research question and textual scope
- 1.2 Prior scholarship and analytical approach
2. Edition and narrative framework
- 2.1 The 1818 edition as the textual source
- 2.2 Narrative levels and analytical concepts
3. Responsibility within nested narration
- 3.1 Character accounts and attributions of responsibility
- 3.2 Tensions between narrative perspectives
4. Comparing interpretations and their limits
- 4.1 Textual support for competing interpretations
- 4.2 Evidential limits and potential counterexamples
5. Conclusion
- 5.1 Response to the research question
- 5.2 Limitations and further questions
This two-level outline has five chapters with two sections each, matching the tool’s output depth. Writing still requires a chosen edition, recorded passage locations and engagement with scholarship to test interpretations. Conclusions answering the research question can only follow the analysis.
For an empirical topic, plan methods, results and discussion around actual data and the research design. Renaming these chapters “Experiments” would not establish that design. Abstracts, acknowledgements and bibliography entries are outside this free tool’s outline output.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to provide?
Enter a paper title of 2–300 characters and choose an output language. No file upload or experimental report is required.
How detailed is the outline?
A two-level outline has 3–10 chapters with 2–6 sections each. It does not expand into prose, abstracts, acknowledgements or bibliography entries. Structure adapts to the title; experiments are not required for every discipline.
How many times can I generate?
There are 3 successful daily uses, independent of topics and abstracts. Regeneration costs one use. Visitor and network limits reset at midnight Beijing time; this tool allows 100 site-wide daily attempts.
What happens on regeneration or failure?
For the same title and language, regeneration uses the previous outline to propose a different structure. Failure preserves the old result and restores your free use, but still counts as an attempt. Wait 30 seconds between requests; at most 10 daily attempts are allowed.
How do I start a paper from the outline?
Select New paper beside the result. The title fills Paper title and the outline fills Background, objectives and methods. Sign in first if needed. The handoff draft remains in this tab for one hour. The writing workflow still reviews scope and outline; this action does not automatically create a project or charge credits.
How long is content retained?
The title and previous outline are sent via Vercel to DeepSeek. Inputs are not stored in our database or application logs. Results are recoverable for 10 minutes, expired caches are purged hourly, and pseudonymous quota records remain for 7 days. A local handoff draft is saved only when you select New paper.
